The Queen Vic Club, Wednesday 30th January

After last week's snowy interuption, we're back for our regular Wednesday night slot at the Queen Vic, Llanelli. Starting around 7.30pm.

All welcome, should be a great night. Plenty of old faces and hopefully some new ones too...

Folk Up The Tracks! (Tuesday 29th Jan, 2013)

It's fast approaching the last Tuesday of the Month again and time to Folk Up The Tracks!

Meet at Llanelli Train Station approx. 6.20pm (train departs around 6.35pm), for a trip to Ammanford in support of the Heart Of Wales line. If you can't make it to Llanelli, feel free to jump on at your local stop.

Join Roger, Ruth and all the usual suspects at the Great Western pub in Ammanford for a evening of Folk & Acoustic music. Come along, sing, play, read some poetry or just come and enjoy the evening!

Train departs Ammanford just after 9pm for the journey home, and who knows, maybe a few songs at The Queen Vic afterwards...

Llanelli Folk & Acoustic

Welcome to the home of Llanelli Folk & Acoustic. The purpose of this blog will be to keep the community informed of local events and meetings, in and around the Llanelli / Burry Port area.

Wednesdays at the Queen Vic Club in Queen Victoria Road, Llanelli will be regular Folk and Acoustic nights (7.30pm - 11.00pm). Musicians, Singers & Poets of all standards welcome. Special guests nights will also take place - watch this space for regular updates!

The first & third Monday of the month hosts regular Folk and Acoustic nights at the Coasting Pilot, Bridge Street, Burry Port (7.30 - 10.45pm). Again, Musicians, Singers & Poets of all standards welcome.

The last Tuesday of the Month is the regular Folk Up The Tracks night. Meeting at Llanelli Train Station approx. 6.20pm (train departs around 6.35pm). A short but pleasant train journey (for a small fare) on the Heart Of Wales line, takes you to the Great Western pub in Ammanford for a evening of Folk & Acoustic music. Train departs Ammanford just after 9pm for the journey home.
