Llanelli Folk & Acoustic

Welcome to the home of Llanelli Folk & Acoustic. The purpose of this blog will be to keep the community informed of local events and meetings, in and around the Llanelli / Burry Port area.

Wednesdays at the Queen Vic Club in Queen Victoria Road, Llanelli will be regular Folk and Acoustic nights (7.30pm - 11.00pm). Musicians, Singers & Poets of all standards welcome. Special guests nights will also take place - watch this space for regular updates!

The first & third Monday of the month hosts regular Folk and Acoustic nights at the Coasting Pilot, Bridge Street, Burry Port (7.30 - 10.45pm). Again, Musicians, Singers & Poets of all standards welcome.

The last Tuesday of the Month is the regular Folk Up The Tracks night. Meeting at Llanelli Train Station approx. 6.20pm (train departs around 6.35pm). A short but pleasant train journey (for a small fare) on the Heart Of Wales line, takes you to the Great Western pub in Ammanford for a evening of Folk & Acoustic music. Train departs Ammanford just after 9pm for the journey home.

  1. Thanks so much for listing Folk Up The Tracks - give us an update about tonight - we might be able to make it as the event Rog had to go to this evening has been cancelled. But just wondering if anyone will be there..........
